Our Committee

I'm Kath,  the chair of our committee.  I'm a woman tenor, having got to that place during 40 years of using my voice to bring kids in off the playground when I forgot my whistle. This also comes in handy with the choir at times. I love music, apart from Queen of course; but can't read music, apart from the uppy & downy bits. 

This is Carla, our Music Librarian, and chief wrangler.  She orders, uploads, prints and distributes all our songs, which as a lifelong stationery freak, she really loves. She also tinkers with backing tracks, and adds clicks for Lorna.  Carla knows everything, and is also a woman tenor.

Angela does eveything that no-one else is doing in our choir, from organising Christmas Carol Singing at the pub to distributing flyers. She is a Soprano, and wishes it to be known that it was windy when she took her photo.

Fiona, is our Secretary & writes things down so we don't forget.  She is also a dabs hand at little recordings to help us learn our songs, and videoing us singing too.  She is an Alto, who loves our Singalongs... in fact there is some thought that she might be Janis Joplin reincarnated...

Nicola holds the purse strings for the choir. She honed her Treasuring skills with the Scouts and knows her way round a  spreadsheet (when she can find it.) Nicola is, very definitely, a Soprano.

Cecilia is one of the stalwarts of our choir. She is an Alto... when she is here that is, because she spends a great deal of time visiting various parts of the globe...
